I am Royal Enfield Himalayan 2021 owner. I recently faced starting problem , while my bike clocked 900km . In my case the buzzing sound didn't hear while turn on the kill switch , that means the fuel pump didn't starting while turn on the ignition. Also some owners may faced while press the self start button the engine starting sound didn't hear we'll see that issue too in this article. So I reached hereby showroom and the rectify it. But then after 500km ie.) after my bike clocked 1400km I faced the same issue. So I searched lot about it and I got the idea that the starting problem is because of the Starter relay. Also I found out that , many of Himalayan owners faced this issue , so I planned to create and article about it. In this article I'm going to exhibit how to fix the starting issue without buy anything and without anybody help . So let's find out how.

So you see this is my motorcycle's problem and as I mentioned already some owners may faced the engine sound too faded. We can able to fix those problems just by changing a relay. Let's see where those relay situated and how to change it.
Do these step only after turn off the ignition.
Step 1 : Remove the pillion seat and rider seat.
Now you will found out the portion under the rider seat like the photo I attached above. In that photo those four rectangle like objects are called relays. Here we can able to see I removed the one of those relays ( mentioned in blue) , right? . The removed one is in the right hand side of the photo ( mentioned in red) .
Step 2 : If your motorcycle's engine starting sound didn't hear , remove the relay that I mentioned in green and replace it by anyone of other 3 relays. Now try start your motorcycle , it'll start if the problem is in the relay otherwise contact the hereby service center.
Note : Step 2 only for one who's motorcycle's engine starting sound didn't hear while press the self start switch.
Also removing these relays are so hard, mostly these relays don't break that easily , so shake it slightly and pull out with your atmost strenght , it will come out . And furthermore while put back the relay press it until it fit properly.
If you just facing buzzing sound didn't hear while turn on the kill switch, do the 1 st step and skip the 2 nd step.
Step 3 : Remove the nuts from the cover of battery ( in the photo I attached below) using 4mm Allen key ( you will see this in your tool box that RE provide) .
After remove the cover ( it is loacated the side where brake is situated) , you will see the photo I attach below.
Step 4 : Now remove the relay that is situated ( mentioned in yellow) .
While removing relay, hold tight the bottom where that relay is attached and pull the relay with atmost strenght .
Note: The above relay is connected to the fuel pump . So if you change this relay the buzzing sound will hear while turn on the kill switch .
Step 5 : Now take out anyone of the relay ( other than the yellow rounded relay) from the photo that I attached in step 1 and insert this relay to the place where we removed the damaged relay in step 4.
Now try to start the motorcycle, 99% it will start otherwise visit nereby RE service center.
Furthermore after done all the steps , go to service center and buy new relay and put it to the empty place.
